These dust collectors will help keep your shop free of shavings, chips, and dust.  But they will only filter down to a certain size dust particle and the smaller particles will remain air born. The best way to help with this problem is locate your dust collector outside or in another well ventilated room separated from you and your shop. Or if your have to keep the dust collector in the same room as shop, you should look into buying an air scrubber to catch the majority of particles missed by your regular dust collector.
