Here is my new loft. It is 11' x 13'. It is built on white oak skids (4"x6" beams) so that it can't be taxed, it is considered a portable building. The studs are poplar and the siding is basswood. I cut the wood at work and bought it all for about $300. The floor is plywood on joists and the roof is tin. The roof tin, plywood, wire, hinges, nails, and screws cost me about $400.
