cutting direction for rotozip

I have a Rotozip Rebel that I received last Christmas. I finally decided to try it out. The instruction book is kind of confusing. In one place, it says to cut counter-clockwise and on another page it says to go clockwise. Which is right?

I believe with a Rotozip you can cut in any direction. I have one, but never read the directions and haven't used it yet. if I'm wrong someone please correct me.

I have never used a rotozip, but agree that you should be able to use it in either direction. If I understand these things correctly they take a pretty small bit so the chance of it getting away from you should be slight. There may be times when the direction you feed could affect the quality of your cut. If your trying to cut up to a line feeding in one direction may have a tendancy to pull the tool into the line while the other direction will try to push it away from the line.

Rotozip

I have found that using the roto tool works best for me by feeding in the Left to right direction due to the clockwise rotation of the tool. I am able to follow my lines much more accurate..Hope this helps.
