Absolutely try all the above especially the TW blades. Also, save yourself some time and spend $15 bucks and get "the Bandsaw Book" by Lonnie Bird. It is a must for someone not familiar with the saw. He lays everything out very easy to understand and his tips and tricks do wonders. Good luck.
