Default Cordless drill help needed

Hi all,

I am looking at buying the new black and decker Firestorm cordless drill 14.4v. Has anyone got one or used one and what do you think of it. Has Black and Decker improved latelyI know that they were a heap of garbage a number of years ago. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Aris

Default Cordless drill

The firestorm is a pretty good drill for the money you spend on it. Black and
Deker isn't a heap of garbage like you call it. It is a cheaper version of the DeWalt, which is the professional version of Black @Decker.You can't expect to pay under a hundred dollars for a drill and get a two hundred dollar drill.
For a home hobbyst the Firestorm is a good drill, your not going to be using it as much as a professional uses his Dewalt.
If your still not satisfied that B@D isn't garbage, save some more money and get a DeWalt or any other good tool that is on the market today. Your not going to get any more than your willing to pay for.. Did you know B@D made the first electric drill ever?
