Smile Newbie...(Still Have Thumbs!)

Hello!

Just like to say a quick hi to everyone here. I'm a model railroader, so most of my "woodwork" has been in the miniature realm.

After moving into a nice big log home, it's time to get on with a little woodworking. I have a nice niche of a big garage mapped out, and have only a few basic woodworking tools. I hope to learn a lot from this forum, and as I've already seen, there seems to be no shortage of helpful folks here.

This should be fun!

I had a 17 by 22 ft H.O. scale layout until I needed more room for my shop in the old house. I had 300 ft. of track, 50 engines, mostly Stewart and Atlas and probably 500 freight cars. I sure have missed it. I'm selling some of the stuff on ebay. My ebay name is imakefurniture.

My old train buddies used to say I had the benchwork capital of the nation, all L girder made out of 1X4's. Maybe that's what really got me into woodworking!
