How to Draw a
Hexagon
by Rob

Step 1. Draw a circle with a compass. This
will be the diameter of your hexagon. The radius of the
circle is what will be used through the whole process of How
to draw a hexagon. The
radius is 1/2 the diameter of a circle.
Step 2. Using the same compass (unchanged), draw
another circle using any point on the outside line of the original
circle as your starting point for the center of the new circle.
Step 3. Draw more circles in the same manor but move
your new circles' center point to where the previous circle crossed
the original circle. This will show you the six equal points of
the hexagon.
Step 4. Use a straight edge to connect the 6 points
of crossings. Now you can see your hexagon take its form.
There you have it, a quick explanation of How to
draw a hexagon.
